On May 6, we asked you to place requests via an online survey for the June, July, or September 2020 exams sessions during which we plan to administer the ECCE and ECPE. We also asked you to place requests for sittings.
The deadline to submit requests has expired.
We analyzed your responses to the survey and we took them into account.
Following what you have requested, we have developed a final ECCE-ECPE schedule for the coming months. The final schedule is available at our relevant webpage.
Important:
By May 31, we will have completed transfers of ECCE-ECPE test takers’ applications; by that date, the new exams administrations dates will have been made available via ORFEAS.
By mid-June, we will have completed test takers’ assignments for the June 2020 ECCE-ECPE written and oral sections; by that date, these assignments will have been made available via ORFEAS.
The ECCE written sections in June and July will be administered in two sittings only – one test takers’ group starting the exam in the morning and another starting the exam early afternoon. The two sittings will give us the time necessary to have exams rooms sanitized before each sitting.
The ECCE-ECPE written sections in June will be administered on weekdays as well. This will give us flexibility in satisfying most of your requests for June. Restrictions due to the COVID-19 situation do not allow us to satisfy all requests for weekends in June.
On the one hand, we do listen when exams stakeholders make requests. On the other, we want to apologize if we are not able to satisfy all requests.
After all, what matters is to have a minimum number of test takers per exams room without risking everyone’s health due to the COVID-19 situation.
What matters is for everyone to stay safe.
